Welcome to Speech Motor Chaining
-
Speech Motor Chaining is a speech therapy approach for children with speech sound disorders, including those with apraxia of speech. This website is an updated version of Speech Motor Chaining described in Language, Speech, and Hearing Services in Schools.
-
This website is free for use by Speech-Language Pathologists but it is not regularly monitored and there is limited technical support.
-
For privacy reasons, when setting up client profiles we recommend using pseudonyms rather than real names.
-
This version of Speech Motor Chaining was developed by Dr. Jonathan Preston. More information can be found on the Syracuse University Speech Production Research Lab Home page.
